A rare find, this ominous copper plaque celebrates this record-holding infield of the late-30’s Detroit Tigers - Greenberg at first, Gehringer at second, Rogell at shortstop, and Owen at third - with impressionistic likenesses and an appropriately chilling “Battalion of Death” at its bottom.
