Large, metal "baseball" has vintage painted "Welcome Cubs" on the sweet spot. Red seams are also hand painted. This hung in a Chicago area bar during the 1960's-70's. This bar was frequented by past and present Major Leaguers. As the players came in the establishment, they signed this display. Over 80 felt tip signatures include greats such as Leo Durocher, Happy Chandler, Pete Reiser, Monte Irvin, Lou Brock, Ken Holtzman, Billy Herman, Jocko Conlan, Curt Simmons, Carl Hubbell, Ernie Banks, Lou Boudreau, Billy Williams, and many more. Condition: Signatures average 6-7/10 while ball itself has a few nicks and dents but appears EX.
