Notes: This was Clemente’s last Pirates contract. It stipulates that he be paid $63,333.34 for the season. Also signed by Joe L. Brown as General Manager for the Pirates and C. Feeney as President of the National League. There is also a Supplemental Pension Contract that states Clemente’s family be paid $500 a month if Clemente dies, which of course he did at the end of that season. Both documents are signed by Clemente.
