Lot 623: 1984 Pete Rose Game Worn Glove

Notes: Blue Mizuno glove was worn in 1984 while Pete was playing for the Montreal Expos. According to Rose, he was tired of his equipment being stolen, so Rose marked the glove with the name “Demars” and “7” on the exterior. The name Demars was for Billy Demars, Rose’s hitting coach and long time friend and the number “7” was manager Bill Virdon’s uniform number.
Condition: The glove shows moderate game use. Rose only used this while playing in the outfield and he only played 28 games in the outfield that season.
