Lot 805: Pete Rose “First Hit” At Great American Ballpark Helmet

Notes: Hard hat worn July 14, 2002 when Pete was invited to tour the new Reds Great American Ball Park. Hunt Construction provided him with a hard hat with his name on it and Reds decal on the side. During the visit, Rose stood at the spot where home plate was to be added and had a pitch thrown to him so that he could get the first “hit” at the Ball Park. Includes Rose’s visitor’s pass from that day as well. The hat is signed “Pete Rose Hit King 4256.”
Condition: The hard hat is in fine condition, the signature has some rubbing.
