Notes: Interesting group of documents from the 1954-55 winter season. Includes (2) almost identical four page “Application for Membership” to George Trautman President of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues for teams in the Mexican League to become AA minor league clubs. Each of the six teams has listed the population of the town/city and both the team’s president and secretary have signed. Also included is a legal document signed by the president of each team and finally there is a two page supplement typed in English explaining what is expected of the teams after they have been granted acceptance into the National Association. Signers include Arnulfo Canales (Mexican League President), Hector Peralta, Joel Rocha, Guillermo Casro Laredo, Anuar Canavati, Alvaro Poncee, and Carlos Rubino Alvarez.
