UPDATE: Coincidentally, Mickey Mantle hit 54 homeruns in the 1961 season which matches up with the number on the bat (#54/115).
Notes: Full size Hillerich and Bradsby bat is stamped “54 Home Runs - 1961” with Mantle’s facsimile signature. Mantle has signed the bat in blue sharpie below the stamping. The other side of the barrel is stamped “61 Home Runs - 1961” with Maris’s facsimile signature. Maris has also signed the bat in blue sharpie below his stamping. The knob is stamped M110 and A92, as that was the model bat that both players used during that historic season. Limited Edition #54 of 115. Two LOA’s.
