Notes: Weighing 1oz, this beautiful 2.25’’ diameter gold medal reads “Amateur Athletic Union of the United States” on the front in raised letters. The back is engraved with the date “1908” as well as “Basketball Henry R Wagner.” Stamped “Solid Gold” and made by Dieges and Clust. The bullion value alone of this medal at the time of writing is about $800.
