Notes: One of two letters found in the Plank family archives. The first was auctioned by Lelands in June of this year. This is the only other one known. Three pages to his wife dated Sept. 13, 1916 on Chicago Beach Hotel stationary. The letter has Baseball content with talk of going duck hunting with Homerun Baker and “We leave tonight for St. Louis-16 more games and then the City Series and then homeward bound.” The letter is signed in a scrawl at the end with his initials, E.S.P.

Condition: Near Mint except for the original mailing folds. LOA from a Plank family member.
