Twenty signatures (19 HOFers) on this Near Mint Official National League (Feeney) ball include Mickey Mantle, Joe Medwick, and Ted Page (all 3 on the sweetspot); Whitey Ford and Cool Papa Bell (also inducted in 1974), Casey Stengel, Buck Leonard, Lefty Grove, Bill Terry, Rube Marquard, Jesse Haines, Ted Lyons, Stan Coveleski, Red Ruffing, Harry Hooper, Warren Giles, Lloyd Waner, George Kelly, Warren Spahn, and Sam Rice. Sadly, Mantle never returned to Cooperstown after this induction. Sam Rice died less than three months after signing this ball, and all of the others, except for Whitey Ford, have since passed. HOF induction balls from this historic year are highly sought after but exceedingly rare. This one is a real beauty.
