Joe Choynski is considered by many to be the greatest Jewish heavyweight in history. He began is career in 1884 and fought many great fighters including Jim Corbett, Jack Johnson and Jess Willard. In fact, both Johnson and Willard considered Choynski to throw the hardest punch of anybody that they ever faced. Quite a compliment!
