There are rare moments when you handle a true piece of history, and this baseball signed by four of the 20th century’s most significant U.S. presidents is just that. The signatures span four decades and begin in the early 1930’s with Herbert Hoover whose black ink signature rates an 8. The ball skips a president to Harry Truman in the mid-1940’s whose blue ball point signature is bold earning it a score of 8.5/9. Dwight Eisenhower was next to serve in the oval office and his black ball point signature is a bit faded earning it a 7.5. And last but certainly not least, one of the most beloved presidents in our nation’s history, John F. Kennedy has signed in blue ball point pen, the pen pressure was strong giving the signature a heavier line that reads clearly earning a score of 8.5, this is the only panel which bears a date, 1962. The ball is slightly toned and there are a few spots with more significant age spotting. Other than the red stitching there are no markings on the ball other than the presidential signatures. This ball is a priceless compilation of autographs from some of the most powerful men in modern history. This item has LOA's from JSA and Charles Hamilton.
