This is an exquisite quality sepia tone cabinet photograph that measures 7 1/2 x 9 1/2" that captures the Fayetteville Highlanders and dates from 1909. The cabinet card photo is framed to an overall size of approx. 14 x 17" though there is a 2 inch chunk of the frame missing. The image is sharp and the contrast remarkably clear for a vintage photo of this era. There is some minor toning and age discoloration but the paper quality is excellent and none of the age spots detracts from the central image in the least. This is a scarce photograph to come by which is further enhanced by the exceptional quality.
