This oversized acrylic painting on masonite board once hung in the former Detroit Tiger, Tony Piet's, Chevy Dealership. The painting measures 36 x 66" and features the image of Jacob Nelson "Nellie" Fox surrounded by the image of a baseball diamond. Beneath Fox's image are statistics and highlights from his career with the Chicago White Sox. The overall quality of the painting is EX with evidence of some surface scratches and wear on the outer edges of the piece. There is some minor edge wear and tear but nothing which detracts from the central image and text of the piece.
