In 1958 Enos Slaughter returned to the Yankees and the delight at coming home to his team is evident on both his and Mickey Mantle’s faces in this 8 x 10” wire photo taken on August 27, 1958. Slaughter would help the Yankees win the game with two hits! The image itself is sharp and clear but there is some age discoloration and spotting, primarily on the top right edge. The photograph has minimal wrinkling and the edges are clean giving it a VG+ rating.
