Lot 148: Don Lee's Game Used LA Angels Baseball Cap circa 1960's

Don Lee might be best known as Thorton Lee's son but he held his own as a journeyman pitcher for several teams during his career, including 3 different expansion teams. His stint with the Los Angeles Angels lasted from mid-season 1962-1965. This navy and red wool baseball cap is a size 7 3/8 and has his number #48 written in sharpie on the underside of the brim. There is tagging from the Tim McAuliffe Company in Boston, MA and a stamp which reads Pro/KM/Cap written inside a baseball. The cap show light game use and of course has the iconic silver halo encircling the top of the cap.
