This vintage wool Red Sox bomber style jacket dates from sometime in the 1960's or earlier due to the design and materials used. There is tagging present on the interior of the pockets which reads Tim McAuliffe Inc. Quality Athletic Equipment, Boston MA, in the other pocket is a tag which reads 40, perhaps the year the jacket was made? The cloth banding around the neck and wrists has a fair amount of wear and tearing, as does the inside lining of the jacket mostly around the neck. The wool body of the jacket is in G condition and the infamous red "socks" patch is in EX condition.
