This collection of (13) 4 x 5" negatives chronicle a 1957 Track meet between rivals UCLA and the University of California. Included in some of the negatives are images of the legendary track and field athlete, Rafer Johnson, just 3 years before he would go on to defeat fellow UCLA alumnus Yang Chuan-Kwang for the Decathlon Gold Medal at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. The negatives are in EX condition and are accompanied by a list stating not only which athletes were photographed, but also the feats they accomplished. There is also a vintage program from the aforementioned track meet included with the lot.
