The first edition copy of Champions Off Guard by William Inglis is inscribed, " To my friend Dr. Charles Hart, Kindest Regards, Jack Dempsey'" and dated October 4, 1932. There is a newspaper article from March of the same year detailing the Dempsey-Firpo fight affixed to one of the front blank pages of the book. The book is in EX condition with the biding completely intact and very minimal age discoloration. The quality of th signature written in black steel tip pen easily rates a 9 out of 10.
