Letterman-style miracle is in stunning Mint condition, with soft and supple white leather sleeves, wool body and trim that are unstained and untorn and that brilliant orange "NY" logo on chest that thrilled the Polo Grounds fans. Number "10" stitched in orange thread just to the left of the zipper bottom attributes it to the Giants shortstop, who gave the jacket to a friend following the '47 season. If we didn't know better, we'd have to believe the thing was vacuum sealed at that point and freed from its half-century nap hours before arriving in our offices. It's just that perfect.
