As the publisher of The Card Collectors Catalogue he brought the "hobby" into modern times. As the creative guru behind Topps from the very beginning he defined the modern baseball card with his birth of the 1952 Topps Baseball Card set. He set the standard in non sports with his work on Mars Attacks! He did it all. Woody passed on in 1978 and things have never been quite the same.
