Joe Louis fought James Braddock on June 22, 1937 at Comiskey Park in front of over 50,000 fans. This 7” x 10” wire photo was shot by Sy Seidman and still has the caption sheet taped to the verso. Braddock knocked Louis down in the first round, but the Brown Bomber came back to win with a stoppage in the eighth round.
