These 2 elite though tiny Northeastern colleges have had a fierce rivalry throughout history. This includes their battle on June 25, 1895 when the two college baseball teams battled it out. The ball is stamped with Amherst vs. Williams and is dated. The ball has some significant cracking and age discoloration, understandable due to the fact that it was both a game ball and is well over a century old. A truly unique find that will be cherished by any collector, most especially by other of the school’s esteemed alumni who are well versed in the legendary rivalry.
