This collection of 9 - 8x10” wire photographs are from the San Francisco Examiner files. The images capture Aaron’s 714 and 715 home runs and (1) of the photos has the original news clipping attached to the verso. The quality of the prints ranges from G to VG with some of the images faded and a variety of editorial markings, though all of the prints are devoid of wrinkles or tears. What makes the images so great however isn’t the quality but the incredible subject matter that captures one of baseball’s most historic moments, given to us by one of the game’s greatest batters.
