This 1968 AP wire photo is titled "Extra Man" and goes on to read that Mays was named to the All-Star team for the 15th straight year as an extra man for the game at the Astrodome. The split image photo measures 7" x 9" and pictures Mays on the lower right as a rookie and at the top right as playing for Minneapolis in the old American Association league.
