On September 27th 1953 before a sparse crowd of 3, 174 the Browns played their last game in St. Louis. Fittingly, the Browns lost giving them yet another last place season with a record of 54-100. This nice 9 1/4" x 6 3/4" shot of Sportsman's Park during said last game is in EX condition with some small creases and is curling slightly. The nice glossy image shot from deep in right field toward home plate shows the sad sight of a near empty stadium that fall afternoon.
