This early edition copy of Round-by-Round, An Autobiography is inscribed on the first page, "To my friend Dr. Charles D. Hart Best Wishes and Good Luck," signed by Jack Dempsey and dated October 5, 1940. The inscription is written with a steel tip pen in black ink and the clear and bold signature easily rates a 9 out of 10. The book is in EX condition with only some very minor age spotting on some of the front pages, otherwise the binding is completely intact and it even includes the original book jacket which features an image of a young Dempsey superimposed over a crowded stadium photo.
