It is amazing the impact Maurice Stokes had on the NBA, having only been able to play 3 seasons. This 1956 achivement award for his Outstanding Contributions to Field Sports is 10 x 13" and framed to 16 x 19" and comes from his Alma Mater, Saint Francis College in Loretto, PA. In fact Stokes chose to be buried at a cemetary at St. Francis after dying of a heart attack at the young age of 36.
