The artist and illustrator is best known for his iconic 1917 I Want You, Uncle Sam Army recruitment poster, of which more than 4 million copies were produced for WWI, and was again revived for WWII. The great thing about this envelope is that it is entirely penned in his own hand. The quality is VG with the writing being bold black ink and clearly legible.
