This collection of wire images chronicles events during the lead up to the big game as well as some game action photos. There are several images of both the University of California Bears and the University of Iowa Hawkeyes practicing before facing each other on New Years Day. The photos are primarily 8 x 10" but there are a few 7 x 9" and some larger images pasted together to show certain game sequences. The quality of the images are EX with almost no wrinkling, good color contrast, and only minimal editorial markings.
