Two 2 1/4" negatives and one 35mm slide of Yankee great Thurman Munson. Munson was the Yankee team captain during the team's legendary late 1970's World Series championships. The slide is of Munson and relief pitcher Sparky Lyle at The Stadium. One of the negs is of Munson's first Major League game vs. Oakland. The other is a profile portrait. Munson died tragically in a plane crash in 1979.
