This large collection of photos, some wire, encompasses the career of the famous Joe “Flash” Gordon. There are early photographs of Joe Gordon’s days as a Yankee second baseman in the 1940’s, both on field and off, as well as publicity and action photos of his career as a manager of the Kansas City Athletics, The Detroit Tigers, the PCL league’s San Francisco Seals and the Cleveland Indians. The photos range in size from 7”x9” to 9”x13” and the quality from very good to excellent with little wrinkling and very few editorial markings.
