Collection of Kansas City A's and Royals newspaper photos (59) from the 1950's through the 1970's. Lots of game action shots. Includes players such as George Brett, John Mayberry, Art Ditmar, Fred Patek, Frank White, Greg Nettles, Al Cowens, Bill Tuttle and Lou Boudreau. They range in size from 7" x 9" to 8" x10" and in condition from VG to MT with many EX-MT. There is a great shot of "Sweet Lou" Piniella tossing his helmet in disgust after being struck out by one of Gaylord Perry's "wet ones". And another of Bill Tuttle making a spectacular backhand catch at Yankee Stadium in 1959 in front of Lou Gehrig's memorial plaque at Monument Park.
