20 x 24'' original oil on board by artist John Orth. Vintage painting done shortly after the Dodgers arrived in Los Angeles. Orth was one of the last artists from the Santa Anna, California area to paint in the style of the Old Masters. His forte was always portraiture of well known persons, as you can well see from this fine example. Some of the artist's most notable subjects included Winston Churchill, Charles Laughton and Albert Einstein.
