Amazing collection of original wire photos (110) of tennis superstar Billie Jean King. Sizes range from 4" x 8" to 8 1/2 x 11 and ranging from VG-NRMT in condition. Photos include a juicy one from 1973 depicting King sitting on on the shoulder of now-infamous runningback, O.J. Simpson. Another from 1975 taken in London of King dancing with Arthur Ashe. Also included is a photo of King receiving the "Battle of the Sexes" trophy from George Forman for defeating Bobby Riggs 6-4; 6-3; 6-3 in 1975. Many shots of her holding grand slam winners trophys; one with Chris Evert looking up "longingly" after losing to King at Wimbledon 6-0, 7-5 in 1973.
