Jim Ray Hart was a San Francisco Giants baseball fan favorite and in 1970 accomplished the rare feat of "hitting for the cycle". Here are photos from earlier in his career, along with coverage of a broken shoulder blade caused by HOF pitcher Bob Gibson during Hart's first big league appearance in 1963.
