This oversized photograph (9x13.5") from 1916 of baseball Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt is a first-rate example of early-20th century news paper photography. It has been artfully enhanced to improve its appearance for the crude print process of the era's newspapers. Lower right corner is missing, but still an amazing photo. Excellent condition.
