In 1938 the NY Yanks crushed the Chicago Cubs in the World Series. From the smile on future HOFer Tony Lazeri's face as he greets Yankees rookie, Joe Gordon, the series had just begun! Super image of these great players measures 6 ¾ x 8 ½ " and is date stamped October 29, 1938. Slight tear at top border and some spots in the lower right quadrant do not diminish this fine photo in EX condition.
