For several years, Esquire Magazine sponsored an All Star Game in New York featuring the nations top High School Players. The teams were managed by former Major League greats and several future Major League players participated. The offered Baseball was signed during the 1946 series by team managers Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner. The Cobb signatures is a "3" on scale of "1-10" and is dated 8/6/46. The Wagner signature is on the sweet spot and is a solid "7" on scale of "1-10." Minor, but even, toning hardly detracts from this great piece.
