More fine relics from the important-but-defunct American Football League. Here is a lot of (5) 1960's era AFL football pennants. Includes: 29.5" Kansas City Chiefs pennant in stiff gold felt with white contrasting felt and maroon graphics. Lightly toned tassels and nearly invisible tack holes are all that’s preventing this from being perfect. Graphics are nice and include the AFL logo in the corner; 30" Houston Oilers pennant NM in stiff blue felt with white and red contrasting felt. Two small tack holes are visible in the wide end, otherwise could be brand new. AFL logo in the corner; 29.5" Boston Patriots pennant in stiff red felt with contrasting white felt. Red felt is slightly faded and small bit of red dye has bled onto the white felt, but otherwise looks great and in EX/NM condition. Menacing Pat the Patriot graphic is hand colored and AFL logo is in the corner; 29.5" Boston Patriots pennant in stiff red felt with contrasting white felt. Red felt is slightly faded and white felt has darkened, but otherwise fine and in EX condition. Pat the Patriot helmet graphic is hand colored and AFL logo is in the corner; 29.5" Boston Patriots pennant in stiff red felt with contrasting white felt. White felt has darkened, but red felt is still bright red. Tip is torn at a tack hole and two tack holes visible on wide end. VG condition overall. Graphics superb with hand colored menacing Pat the Patriot and AFL logo is in the corner.
