ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
This is an amazing image of the fiery crash of the in famous zeppelin, The Hindenburg, that came crashing to Earth on May 6, 1937 in Lakehurst N.J.
The 6 3/4 x 10 5/8" image stunningly captures the inferno spilling out of the helium filled chamber, but it is the shadows of the people on the ground, some fleeing to escape, some heading towards the crash to help others that make this image truly great. The quality is VG with some minor water spotting and wrinkles, which do not detract at all from the composition. A great photo capturing an incredible moment in our nation's history.
