This photograph captures the Detroit Tiger's player wearing a NY Yankees Uniform. At the time Greenberg was in the army and he was loaned the Yankee's shirt to play in a benefit game. In a statement to the press Greenberg referred to the infamous image as perhaps one of the causes of his release and sale to the National League's Pittsburgh Pirates. The 6 x 8" image is of EX quality with only minor wrinkling at the edges, primarily on the bottom border.
