ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
The New York Yanks were a pro football team in existence for only a few years in the early 1950's. They played their games at Yankee Stadium. One of their most well known players was pro football HOFer Art Donovan who played his college ball at Boston College. The Yanks became the Dallas Texans for one year and then the Baltimore Colts of Johnny Unitas fame starting in 1953. This pennant is in EX condition with a nice color graphic of a kicker in motion. It measures 28" x 11 1/2" with only some minor discoloration along the left top edge keeping it from a higher grade. The second pennant is a 14 1/2x 4 3/4" mini NY Giants also in EX.
