This edition of Ivan Kaye's Good Clean Violence A History of College Football, is signed by All American Quaterback Benny Friedman. He is often considered the first great passer in pro football and after playing for the University of Michigan went on to play with local teams the Cleveland Bulldogs and then the Detriot Wolverines completing his playing career with the New York Giants. He then went on to coach the Brooklyn Dodgers football team and various college teams. In 2005, Friedman was inducted into the Footbal Hall of Fame On page 102 of the book, you will find a photograph of this great player signed in blue ballpoint by the celebrated player. The book is in great condition and the signature and inscription is mint and very easy to read. The lot also includes a 1955 Topps All-American card in VG condition.
