The Oakland Invaders played in the last USFL game; the championship game vs. the Baltimore Stars in 1985 which they lost. This lot consists of a game used helmet and jersey from the 1985 USFL runners up. The helmet is made by Schutt and shows considerable game use with lots of nicks and scratches. The team logo decal has peeled up somewhat as have the interior labels. The numbers 43 and 23 have been etched into the lower back side. The jersey belonged to NT Ruben Vaughan, #77, out of Colorado. It is a Russell Athletic size 50 WPL 7232 Made in USA and shows heavy game use with several holes/tears.
