Gil Hodges, first base great played 18 of his 20 year career with the Dodgers. He died prematurely of a heart attack at age 48. This is his 1954 Topps card. It exhibits bold and vibrant color. Hodges’ swinging pose in B&W is standing on the shoulder of his full color portrait. Corners are crisp and card shows 60/40 right to left centering. SGC has graded it 86 NM+ 7.5.
