From the photo archives of the historic William Randolph Hearst newspaper, The San Francisco Examiner, are (150+) news photos related to the 1940 Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island. This collection is a stunning assortment of images taken by Examiner staff photographers including many in large (up to 9 x13") format. They are high quality shots of the Exposition's opening parade, architecture, entertainment and wide variety of events. Some of the best images are wonderful candids of the crowd. Condition ranges from VG to MT with many on the better end of that range.
