Photo was snapped as he crossed home plate after belting a 3 run walk off homer for a 7-5 AL win in the bottom of the ninth. Wire photo is 8" x 12" with AP caption. It is in EX plus condition with only some minor surface imperfections. Also seen in the photo is Yankee Clipper Joe DiMaggio as he congratulates Williams at home plate. DiMaggio was on base and scored thanks to the Williams homer.
