World War II wire photo collection (600+). Images are of American, British and German troops in battle. News service photos with captions are mostly 8” x 10” and in various states of condition averaging VG-EX. There are many images of European cities as they are being liberated by allied forces. Happy Dutch, French and Belgian citizens are seen greeting allied forces with much exuberance. Also photos of wounded soldiers in medical facilities as medics and nurses tend to them. Really an incredible collection.
