This massive and varied collection of oversized wire photos (450+), the vast majority of which are 11"x14", focuses on West Coast ball clubs. Beginning with early images from the 1940's of PCL team the San Francisco Seals, the collection features images from the S.F. Giants to The Oakland A's to the LA Dodgers. A large portion of the collection dates to the 1980's and focuses on the San Francisco Giants. There are a large number of images capturing the all Pacific 1989 World Series between the Giants and the A's. A fantastic collection for all you California baseball fans out there. The quality of the photographs range from very good to mint with minimal creasing and discoloration and few editorial markings. Many of the wire photos also have the original news clippings affixed to the back of the photo.
